My Story
moved to Los Angeles in 2004 to work as a paparazzi and found early success. However, I eventually fell into a cycle of partying, relapsed, and lost everything, landing in jail and battling addiction and homelessness for years. Despite my struggles, I continued hustling, often on the wrong side of the law. A mild heart attack led to a month-long hospital stay that forced me into sobriety. After my release, I realized how much time I’d wasted and felt a deep desire for change.
Still homeless, I started a street food business from my van, selling hot dogs and burritos in North Hollywood Park and at the Van Nuys courthouse. Eventually, I found stability through the Tiny Homes program in the San Fernando Valley, a housing initiative supporting people experiencing homelessness.
In my free time, I scrolled through TikTok for amusement, never imagining I’d be on the platform myself. But I took a chance, posted some videos, and, within a week, gained over 1,000 followers. By the end of the month, that number had grown to over 5,000. It all happened so fast—it was truly unexpected.
